Distributed computing:
- The idle CPU cycles on the DXrobot server are used for a distributed computing project from the
Stanford University called Folding@Home.
This project studies protein folding, misfolding, aggregation, and related diseases,
such as Alzheimer's, Mad Cow (BSE), CJD, ALS, and Parkinson's disease.
